Favourites: Bridal Fashion Week 2015
As Fashion Week has well and truly passed, it was a lovely refresher to have bridal fashion week. Watching makeshift brides glide down the runways left everybody dreaming about the perfect dress for their big day...even teenagers like me.
I wanted to share some of my favourite collections because I love wedding gowns. A wedding dress is one of the most important garments a woman will wear in her life.
Oscar de la Renta
Oscar de la Renta never fails to show his infamous gowns which portray such beauty within their designs. This bridal week, there was a lot of embroidery that made the dress seem even more exquisite than they already are.
Jenny Packham
Jenny Packham's collection exhibited light, airy dresses which complemented the backdrop of the runway. The dresses weren't ball gowns, they were mainly sheath dresses which were delicate and dainty dresses.
Reem Acra
Reem Acra's Fall 2015 bridal collection was called "Let there be light" and it definitely shone brightly as a collection. There was a lot of sparkle and embellishments making the dresses very glamorous. A range of silhouettes were also displayed, showing a wide variety of skills.
