5 Designer Dupes | Accessories
It's impossible to scroll through social media without catching a glimpse of the next 'it' thing. Whether it be bags or blazers, theres always one particular item that the world seems to be obsessed with. For those of us with dismal bank account numbers, owning one of the hottest items around seems like a mere dream, so distant it's only achievable to gawk at them through a screen.
Having been one of these so called 'gawkers' in all my 19 years, I made it my mission to try and find some dupes so that I can at least feel fashionable and up to date with the ever so rapid industry that is fashion. I must say I didn't have to delve too deeply into my research, as most high street brands have appeared to understand our woes (and found a gap in the market for themselves).
Numerous replicas and knock-offs have been replicated by some of the biggest high street names, making it magnificently easier to get our hands on the latest trends at a fraction of the price!

The Bum-Bag
Aaah, the bum-bag. A total classy classic. Apparently not just for festivals, the bum-bag has made its appearance this SS18 and has become fashionable once again. The Gucci bum-bag is the most popular and identifiable as possible, with zig-zagging stitching and of course, the symbolic, interlocking G's proudly displaying on the front. Lucky for us, Topshop have come up with an eerily similar item that is 97% cheaper than the original!
The Fur Loafer
The loafer is the most iconic item that Gucci have released. The sumptuously smooth fur lining makes the shoe irresistible for your little tootsies to snuggle up in. However, at £765, you may have to sacrifice the cosiness of your toes. (Soz toes)
EGO have created a fantastic replica of these shoes, and whats more, the fur is faux so you can be supporting Animal Rights as well as stealing inspiration from one of the worlds most renowned Luxury Fashion houses. It's a win-win really....?

The Studded Boots
Ankle Boots never do really go out of style, but this season it's all about the studs and the extra glitz. The Chloé boots have been worn and therefore popularised by the likes of Kim Kardashian and Halle Berry, so they're a definite must.
The Topshop version is so similar I had a hard time distinguishing between them when uploading the photos to this post. The price is incredible, just £10, because they have recently gone on sale, so grab them at this extremely low price while you can!
The Studded Pumps
This style just screams out fierceness, sass and a whole side-order of elegance. The studs are Valentines trademark, making the design even more elitist and special.
The dupes are from Public Desire and I think they've approached the style incredibly well. If I saw someone wearing the dupes, I would most probably be fooled into thinking they're the real deal. Maybe it would have to be from quite a distance but still, it's a good enough effort.
